# Chats: Pin / Mute / Remove / Leave

### How to Pin, Mute, Remove, and Leave Chats
These edits can be made from both the mobile app, and the website. 

**Pin Chat:** This will pin a specific chat to the top of your Chats list, to aid in navigating to that chat quickly. You can pin multiple chats. 
**Mute:** Silences all notifications for the chat
**Remove:** Deletes the chat, for you and for all members of that chat. This is permanent and cannot be recovered. 
* _This option will show for Admins only._
**Leave:** Removes yourself from that chat. Other members can still participate and see past replies in that chat. 


# From the Mobile App:

1. Tap the **Chats** icon from the bottom taskbar

2. Select any chat that you want to edit. This includes group chats, and personal (one-on-one) chats. 

3. Click the profile picture (or set of initials) from the top corner.

4. Select your preferred action _(Pin / Mute / Remove or Leave)_

Depending on your selection, that chat will now be either pinned to the top of your chat list, muted, or removed entirely.

# From the Website:
_You will need to be either [viewing the list of groups you're a member of](https://go.socialglow.com/g), or in a SocialGlow group._

1. Open the Chat window by tapping the **Chat** icon in the bottom corner.

2. Select any chat that you want to edit. This includes group chats, and personal (one-on-one) chats. 

3. Select the 3-dot icon in the top corner of this window.

4. Select your preferred action _(Pin / Mute / Remove or Leave)_
* Additional _Members_ option may be listed here, where you can view all members of that group chat.
