# Delete a Group Post or Comment

### Posts and comments made to groups can be deleted

* You can delete any posts and comments from groups you are an admin or moderator of. 

* Group members are only able to delete posts and comments they have authored. 

# How to delete a post:

| This can be done from both the website and the mobile app

_You must either be the author of the post, or be an admin/moderator of the group that post is in to be able to delete it._

1. Click the 3-dot icon beside the post you want to delete. 
2. Select the **Delete** option from the list given.

3. Confirm that you want to delete that post. 

# How to delete a comment:

|| This can only be done from the website version of your group. It cannot be done from the mobile app.

_You must either be the author of the comment, or be an admin/moderator of the group that post is in to be able to delete it._

1. Click the 3-dot icon beside the comment you want to delete. 
2. Select the **Delete** option from the list given.

3. Confirm that you want to delete that post. 

# Alternate way to delete posts/comments from your SocialGlow dashboard:

1. From your SocialGlow dashboard, click **Groups**.
2. Locate the group you want to review, and click the number listed in the Post column.

_You can use the **Delete** icon to the far right to delete a post listed here, or continue on to navigate to comments._

3. Locate the parent post of the comment you want to delete, and click the number listed in the Comments column.

4. Click the Delete icon to the far right of any comment you want to delete.

5. Confirm this deletion.
