# How to Give / Make a Donation

# How to Make a Donation

Giving can be done from both a desktop and from the mobile app.

### Navigate to the Donate page

There are two ways to do this:
* Scan the QR code or use the link shared with you. 
* Select the Donate button within the group or mobile app.

### Donate

Depending on the way your group's admin has set this up, either of these scenarios below will happen:

1. A window will pop up, where you will fill out your preferences:

* The frequency of the gift *(can be once, or recurring)*
* The amount of the gift
* If you want to cover the transaction fee *(if unselected, the transaction fee will be deducted from the gift total)*
* A dropdown box ***may*** be given here. If so, select the category you would like to put your donation towards.

* Click **Continue** to fill out your billing info and submit this donation. 


##### OR


2. You will be redirected to an external site, where a donation can be made.

# Review donations and subscriptions
*You are able to review any transactions made, and edit/cancel any active recurring subscriptions.*

|| Managing your recurring subscriptions must be done from the website (not the mobile app). To do this, please follow the steps below:

1. [Log into your SocialGlow account.](https://go.socialglow.com/login) 

2. Open your menu at the top of the page, and select **EGiving.**

* From here, you can manage any recurring donations scheduled, view your donation history, and view/edit your payment method.

* Use the *Manage Giving* option under the Recurring Giving tab to make any changes to or cancel your upcoming scheduled donations.
