# How to Mute or Leave a Chat

### How to Mute or Leave a Chat
This can be done from both the mobile app, and the website. 

**Mute:** Silences all notifications for the chat

**Leave:** Removes yourself from that chat. Other members can still participate and see past replies in that chat. 

# From the Mobile App:

1. Tap the **Chats** icon from the bottom taskbar

2. Select any chat that you want to leave or mute. This includes group chats, and personal (one-on-one) chats. 

3. Click the profile picture (or set of initials) from the top corner.

4. Select the  _Mute_ or _Leave_ option.

Depending on your selection, that chat will now be either  muted, or removed from your chats list entirely. 
* _You may need to refresh the page to see that chat no longer listed._

# From the Website:
_ [Login](https://go.socialglow.com/login) to your SocialGlow account._

1. Open the Chat window by tapping the **Chat** icon in the bottom corner.

2. Select any chat that you want to edit. This includes group chats, and personal (one-on-one) chats. 

3. Select the 3-dot icon in the top corner of this window.

4. Select the  _Mute_ or _Leave_ option from the menu given.
