# Membership Questions

### Membership Questions
You can add questions to your groups, that members will encounter when joining that group. They can be either optional, or required.

# Enable the Member Approval feature

##### Navigate to your Group Settings:

* From your SocialGlow dashboard, click **Groups.**

* Locate the name of the group you're wanting to add membership questions to, and click the **Group Settings** icon to the far right.

* Select the **Step 2** tab at the top of the page.

# Create your questions

1. Scroll down to the _Membership Questions_ section, and click the **Add Question** button.

2. Type in a question you want new members to answer.

3. Select a response type from the dropdown box given:

* Text: best used when needing a written response

* Single choice: create a list of options, and the member can select one choice

* Multi-choice: create a list of options, and the member can check off multiple options

4. _(optional)_ If you want this question required to be answered to join the group, toggle the **Required** switch on/blue.

| You can add up to 3 membership questions per group.

5. Click the **Save** button at the bottom of this page to save your changes. 

Any new members joining this group will be prompted to answer the questions you've added.

# View your group members' answers

1. Navigate to the list of your Group Members

* From your SocialGlow dashboard, click **Groups.**
* Locate the name of the group you want to check and click the number listed in the **Members** column.

2. Locate the member whose answers you want to review, and click the RSVP icon to the far right.

3. A new window will pop up, listing their given answers. 

|| If the RSVP icon is grayed out or unclickable, this means that member has not yet answered the RSVP questions.
