# Post Approval

### Post Approval
If you want approve any posts your members create before they publish to that group, you'll need to enable Post Approval in that group. 

# Enable the Post Approval feature

1. Navigate to your Group Settings:

* From your SocialGlow dashboard, click **Groups.**

* Locate the name of the group you're wanting to edit, and click the **Group Settings** icon to the far right.

* Select the **Step 2** tab at the top of the page.

2. Under the Member Settings section, toggle on the switch for **Post Approval.**

3. Click the **Save** button at the bottom of this page to save your changes. 

Now when a member makes a post in that group, they'll receive a message showing it will post once approved.

### View Pending Posts

_This can be done from both the website and mobile app views of the group._

1. Navigate to that group.

2. Click the **Post is pending** alert, in the corner of that group's cover photo.

3. Select the **Post requests** tab.

4. A list of all pending requests will be shown here. You can choose from the following options:
* Approve
* Decline with Feedback
* Message

Any posts approved from here with immediately show in that group, and that member will receive an email notification of that approval.
