# Visible Groups

# Visible Groups

Make your group joinable for any of your contacts. This eliminates the need to manually share a group link with your community, and provides the opportunity for them to request to join a group themselves.


### Enable the Visible Group option

* From your SocialGlow dashboard, [navigate to your group settings.](https://help.socialglow.com/en/article/edit-a-groups-settings-fa1sh8/)

* At the top of your group settings, select the Step 2 tab.

* Scroll down to the **Member's Settings** section. 

* Toggle the setting for *Make group visible* to ON (blue).

* Click the **Save** button at the bottom of the page.


### A Contact's View of a Visible Group

That group will now be shown in the list of groups for each of your SocialGlow contacts. They can use the Request to Join button beside that group to request access of that group.
