How to Create a Template of Posts

This is usually the beginning step to getting your posts scheduled to your group, so let's get started by creating your first script of posts in a template.

You can watch the full video tutorial or continue reading for written instructions.

Create a Template

  • From the left hand menu, click Templates, then Create New Template.
  • Give your template a name. Your group members will not see this title. Click Create Template.

  • A new window will pop up, click Create Post.

Adding Posts to your Template:

Click the Add New Post button

There are 2 different post type options given here: Add Media and Video Link/Live Stream.

  1. Add Media (This is the default option)
Select this option if you want to create a post that includes any type of media such as:
  • Pictures
  • Videos
  • GIFs

Use the Upload Media section to upload your video, picture, or GIF files to the post. You can add multiple to a single post.

You can add any text, website links and/or video links directly in the Message box. The system will generate a preview of a link once posted.

  1. Video Link/Live Stream
*Select this option if you are scheduling a post notifying your group members when you are streaming live. *

For the Video Link/Live Stream section, you would enter the link of the location you'll be streaming at (such as a YouTube live event link, or Zoom meeting link).

After your post information has been filled out:

  • Designate each post with the Day and Time you want that post to be published.
  • Select your preferred Comment settings.
  • Click Create Post.

The Day is not the date of the month, but rather notes the order of your posts. For example, if you have a 3 days of scheduled posts , Day 1 would post the first day of posts, Day 2 would post the second day, and Day 3 the final day. Later, when you schedule this template to post to a group, you will choose the actual date you want your posts to begin posting on![]

That post will now be listed in that template, labeled with the Day and Time you had selected.
