Group Member's Guide: SocialGlow Mobile App

SocialGlow offers a FREE mobile app

Using the mobile app is the easiest way to interact with the groups you're invited to - especially on the go!

To download the app from the App Store or Google Play Store, search for SocialGlow (no spaces)



Benefits:


  • View, interact with, and comment on posts
  • Add posts and products to your Favorites
  • Post to groups you're a member of (unless the Admin has turned off this ability)
  • Use group chat
  • Privately chat directly with the Admins, Moderators, and other Members
  • View and interact with Group Courses
  • View your Favorites
  • Receive Notifications
  • Use Link and File buttons within groups



Navigate using the Taskbar, located at the bottom of the screen:


  1. Home - ** When you first open the mobile app and log in, you'll arrive at your newsfeed, which is a list of all the posts made in the groups you are a member of. You can get back to this page anytime by clicking the **Home icon.



  1. **Groups ** - The second icon from the taskbar lists all of the groups you're in. You can click on any of these to navigate to that group.



  • You can post from the app! After navigating to the group you want to post to, click the orange pencil icon to create a new post.



  • You can edit the notification settings of any group. Navigate to that group, then click the 3-dot icon in the top corner and toggle your preferred settings.



  1. Chat - From here, you can send or respond to messages to all of the members of the group you select.



  1. ** Courses - ** If there are any Courses added to the groups you're a member of, you can interact with them here.



  1. Notifications - This is where you'll be notified of any new posts or interactions, and they'll be listed here.



Lastly, you can view/change your profile settings by clicking your Profile picture in the top right corner.



From here, you can:

  • Add or change your profile picture and name
  • View the email address associated with your account
  • View any posts you had Favorited
  • Contact SocialGlow's live Support chat
  • Change your password
  • Log out
  • View the app version number




To update the mobile app:
Navigate to the SocialGlow app within the App Store (for Apple users) or the Google Play Store (for Android users). If the app you have installed is not the most current version, there will be an Update option listed there.
