How to Chat with other Members

You're able to privately chat with other members of the SocialGlow groups you're a member of. This article will walk you through how to do this from SocialGlow's free mobile app.

How to respond to existing chats

From the bottom taskbar of the app, click the Chat icon.

This will show all chats you are already a part of. You can click on any name or group listed there to view or comment in that chat.

If you are chatting with an individual person, it will be private between the two of you. **However, **if you participate in a group chat, that will be visible by all members of that group.

How to start a new chat

There are two ways this can be done:

Click on the profile picture of the person you want to chat with, anywhere it appears on the app

A new screen will pop up. Click the Chat bubble to begin a new chat.

OR

Find that person in the list of members of the group you are both members of.

From the bottom taskbar of the mobile app, click the Groups icon.

Click on the name of the group that person is member of.

Click the 3-dot icon in the top right corner of the group, and select members from the menu given.

All members of that group are listed here. Find the name of the person you want to chat with, and click the Chat bubble to the right to begin a new chat with them.
