All About the Mobile App

SocialGlow offers a free mobile app for both admins and members


Using the mobile app is the easiest way to interact with your groups and members - especially on the go! This can be a crucial resource in running a successful group.

We strongly recommend both you and your members using the mobile app whenever possible.

To download the app from the App Store or Google Play Store, search for SocialGlow (no spaces)


Benefits


Those who use the mobile app will be able to do the following:

View and interact with posts in their feed and group rooms
Comment on posts
Add posts and products to their Favorites
View and respond to any group chat messages
Privately chat directly with the Admins, Moderators, and other Members
View and interact with Courses
View Favorites
Receive Notifications
Use Link and File buttons within group rooms


Navigate using the Taskbar, located at the bottom of the screen:



Home - When you first open the mobile app and log in, you'll arrive at your newsfeed, which is a list of all the posts made in the groups you are a member of. You can get back to this page anytime by clicking the Home icon.



Groups - The second icon from the taskbar lists all of your groups you've joined. Click any group listed here to go directly to that group room.



You can post from the app! After navigating to the group you want to post to, click the orange pencil icon to create a new post.

Chat - From here, you can send or respond to messages to all of the members of the group you select. You can also privately message any of your individual contacts listed here.



Courses - If there are any Courses added to the groups you're a member of, you can interact with them here.



Notifications - This is where you'll be notified of any new posts or interactions, and they'll be listed here.



Profile Settings



Lastly, you can view/change your profile settings by clicking your Profile picture in the top right corner.



From here, you can:
Add or change your profile picture and name
View the email address associated with your account
View any posts you had Favorited
Contact SocialGlow's live Support chat
Change your password
Log out
View the app version number




To update the mobile app:
Navigate to the SocialGlow app within the App Store (for Apple users) or the Google Play Store (for Android users). If the app you have installed is not the most current version, there will be an Update option listed there.
