Allow a Member to Join after Declining

Allow to Join

Have you declined a member's request to join your group, but want to allow them to request again?

After declining a join request, that user won't be able to use the group link or group code to make another request. This prevents a person from spamming the admins of that group with join requests.

However, an admin can lift that block so they can make another request to join. We walk you through how to do that below.

Locate their Declined Request

From your SocialGlow dashboard:
Select Groups.
Find the name of the group in question.
Click the number listed under the Members column, to the right of that group's name.

This page lists all members of the group.
Select the Declined tab, near the top of the list.

Allow to Join

Locate the user's name, that you want to be able to request to join again.
Click the Actions icon, to the far right of their name.

From the window that pops up, select the Allow to Join option.

That user will now be able to use the group link or group code to request to join that group again.
