How to Mute or Leave a Chat
This can be done from both the mobile app, and the website.
Mute: Silences all notifications for the chat
Leave: Removes yourself from that chat. Other members can still participate and see past replies in that chat.
From the Mobile App:
Tap the Chats icon from the bottom taskbar
Select any chat that you want to leave or mute. This includes group chats, and personal (one-on-one) chats.
Click the profile picture (or set of initials) from the top corner.
Select the Mute or Leave option.
Depending on your selection, that chat will now be either muted, or removed from your chats list entirely.
You may need to refresh the page to see that chat no longer listed.
To unmute a chat, those options will be given in this same menu.
From the Website:
Login to your SocialGlow account.
Open the Chat window by tapping the Chat icon in the bottom corner.
Select any chat that you want to edit. This includes group chats, and personal (one-on-one) chats.
Select the 3-dot icon in the top corner of this window.
Select the Mute or Leave option from the menu given.
Depending on your selection, that chat will now be either muted, or removed from your chats list entirely.
You may need to refresh the page to see that chat no longer listed.
To unmute a chat, those options will be given in this same menu.
