Renaming Roles: Custom Names for Admins, Moderators and Members

Instead of using these default titles of different roles in groups, you can assign custom names.

Renaming roles in a group you've already created:

If you're renaming roles while creating a new group, go directly to Step 4 below.

From your dashboard menu, click Groups

Under the Actions column, click the Group Settings icon (looks like a gear) beside the group you want to edit.

Select the Step 4 - Optional Features tab at the top.

Use the Rename Roles option near the bottom of that page.

Click the Rename Roles button.

Enter the custom name you prefer to use for Admins, Moderators, and/or Members.

Click the Save button in the bottom right corner.

These new role titles will now be used, and when you assign roles in this group your custom names will show as options to select.
