If you're new to SocialGlow, you probably have a lot of questions and may wonder how this all works together!
I’d like to help get you started by walking you through the basics step-by-step. Together we’ll be setting up your first group and familiarizing you with the tools available.

Step 1) Setting up your first group
Your group is where you and your members will interact with each other.
This is where the action happens!
In the guide below, I’ll be walking you through creating a group and explaining the options you have along the way.
And here is how to invite folks to become members of your group.

Step 2) Getting familiar with your dashboard
Your account is split into two parts:
- The Dashboard - where the management of your groups happens
- SocialGlow - the hub of your groups, where you’ll be interacting with your members
Below, I’ll show how to navigate between the two, and familiarize you with your dashboard tools.

Step 3) Explore features
I’d like to introduce you to some of our most popular features. These are each optional to use, but are powerful in encouraging and retaining your members’ engagement.
- 📌 Events - Ensure your guests have important days or times noted in an easy to find spot in your group.
- 💲 Egiving - Members can choose to donate to a fund you have set up.
- 📈 Tracking Forms - Create your own surveys and forms for your group members to fill out.
- ✏️ Courses - Incorporate lessons into your groups, or as independent courses.
- 📹 Go Live - Your members can view your livestream directly from their own device.
- 💬 Group Chat - Communicate with all of a group’s members at once, to foster community.
- ⏰ Post Automation - Schedule posts to publish ahead of time.
- 📆 Content Calendar - View all posts and events scheduled to your groups at a glance.
Step 4) Utilize the mobile app
Using the mobile app is the easiest way to interact with your groups and members - especially on the go! This can be a crucial resource in running a successful group.
We strongly recommend both you and your members use the mobile app whenever possible.
