Setting up a New SocialGlow Group
How do I create a new SocialGlow Group?

Go to Groups from the left hand menu, and click Create New Group.
Step 1
Name your Group
Add a description
Upload a cover photo.

Click Next Step
Step 2
Choose your Timezone
(Optional) Check the Add Start Date box to include a start date, start time, and/or end date

Toggle on/off your preferences for the features listed on this step.
SMS notifications
Allow members to share that group's link/code
Enable Chat
Allow members to post to the group (with the option for post approval)
Members needing your approval to join the group
You have the option here to add Questions here as well. These questions will be given when a new member goes to join the group.

You have the option to enable Gamify your group by awarding points to build community and boost engagement!

Toggle this switch on if you decide to enable this feature

Step 4
These are all optional features:
Create Event: Use this button to create an itinerary for your group. Your group members will be notified at the time(s) selected here. This can be helpful if you have things happening at certain times - such as a deadline, a time you're going live in that group, etc.
Create Topic: This allows you to create topics you can assign your posts to, making it easy to browse a collection of posts you've made about that topic.
Add Button: Use this to create a weblink in the form of a handy button that will be displayed in this group. These can be used to direct members to your website, links to fill out a form, your LinkTree, etc.

Rename Roles: This is helpful if you want to to use custom labels for the Admins, Moderators, and/or Members of this group. You would type in your preferred titles here.

At the bottom of the page, click Create Group.
Create Group
Your Group is now created and the system will generate a custom code and link to share with new members.

From here you can also visit your new group and create new posts.
